Cloud VPN

Migrated a design firm's remote work environment to the cloud.

Following an office relocation at a design firm we had supported for years, we migrated the existing on-premises VPN to the cloud. To handle increased data transfer demands and mitigate foreign exchange risk, we selected and deployed a Japanese domestic cloud platform, achieving both cost stability and operational reliability.

CISSP

Launched CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) advisory services.

Drawing on years of hands-on experience across software and hardware development, VPN network design, and security operations, we obtained the CISSP certification and launched formal information security advisory services. We deliver security consulting and assessment support from the perspective of a practitioner who has worked in the field.

Development Support

Provided hardware development and CI/CD implementation support for a hardware manufacturer.

Developed embedded firmware for a cell AI-recognition device at a university-originated biotech AI startup. Built on a real-time operating system (RTOS), we implemented communication and coordination with an AI inference FPGA, delivering an integrated system in which all device components operate in concert.

Development Support

Provided hardware and API development support for an EV-related company.

Handled hardware development for expanding EV charging infrastructure, including negotiations with parking operators and EMS vendors and definition of device specifications. Also contributed to API server development, leading the architecture design and implementation of an RDS-to-DynamoDB migration for high-frequency, low-priority OCPP protocol data.

Supported API development for a SaaS company.

Joined an API development project combining Django and AWS Amplify CLI. Responsibilities spanned backend logic implementation through AWS resource provisioning.

Supported autonomous driving system development for a major automotive company.

Refactored autonomous driving software written with ROS 2 for a major automotive manufacturer. Focused on code restructuring with an emphasis on readability, maintainability, and testability, helping the development team sustain a continuous-improvement cycle.

Developed a chatbot proof-of-concept for an automotive manufacturer.

Built a proof-of-concept Flask server specializing in Japanese natural language analysis using the morphological analysis library SudachiPy. Validated a chatbot backend foundation for the automotive industry, centered on accurate parsing of Japanese domain-specific expressions.

Supported LINE chatbot development for a medical media platform.

Built a LINE chatbot using Django, implementing features for managing users' medical appointment records and health information. Also handled LINE LIFF integration and frontend development with Vue.js for select functions.

VPN

Designed, built, and began operating a VPN environment for a design company.

Designed and built a VPN environment to support full-remote operations during the COVID-19 state of emergency, when on-site visits were severely restricted. Adopted a redundant architecture with multiple remote management paths to ensure stable operation even in the event of failures.

SoftEther Corporation

Became a sales partner of SoftEther Corporation.

Development Support

Supported development for an autonomous driving system company.

Handled the Python 3 migration of a ROS application integrating with Autoware, the open-source autonomous driving framework. Performed a thorough analysis of the existing Python 2-only codebase and carried out a full rewrite while verifying library compatibility throughout.

QBIT Robotics

Supported development for QBIT Robotics Inc.

Joined QBIT Robotics Inc. as the primary technical resource during its startup phase. Responsibilities spanned the full stack — from designing and implementing robot control driver libraries and sensor calibration to architecting and building a REST API integration with an external payment provider. As the sole engineer at the outset, I effectively led the overall product architecture end-to-end.
